The string is 20m long with 200 LEDs spaced 10cm apart. There is also a 2.5m power lead (including the control box) between the plug and the first LED.

The 20m length suits trees up to 1.8m tall. It also works well for windows, balcony railings, doorways and stair rails.

Yes. The lights are IP65 waterproof and work in temperatures from -20°C to 40°C. The power adapter is for dry locations only, so keep it somewhere sheltered or inside an outdoor waterproof box. For outdoor use, plug into a power point protected by a safety switch (RCD).

Connect the control box to the power adapter, then fix the string at the base of your tree or display. Wrap it upwards and plug it in. Press the button on the control box to turn the lights on or off.

Download the Govee Home app on iOS or Android and switch on your phone’s Bluetooth. Tap the “+” icon, search for “H70C4” and follow the on-screen steps.

Yes, for full smart features. You need a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (802.11 b/g/n). 5GHz is not supported. For the best connection, keep the lights within 30m of your router with as few walls as possible in between.

Yes. The lights work with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Matter. For Matter, finish connecting within 15 minutes of first powering on. You’ll need an IPv6 network and the QR code or device number from the product or the Govee Home app.

Yes. The built-in mic powers 10+ music modes. For the best results, place the control box close to your speaker or music source.

No. The string shouldn’t be cut, opened or connected to another light string or decoration. For bigger displays, use a separate set with its own adapter.

We recommend unplugging them when you leave the house, go to bed or leave them unattended. They are designed for seasonal, ambient decoration rather than permanent installation or general room lighting.

First check that your Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz and that the password is correct. If the lights still won’t connect, press and hold the control box button for 5 seconds to reset them, then try again. Each device can only be controlled by one Govee account, so share the same login if multiple people want control.
